Overture

It’s been quite the adventure from the time I first started playing drums at age 10. The Timeline in the “About” page provides my background and history, but this space, which I’ve titled “Musings,” is something different. Here, I’ll share reflections. Thoughts on drumming, music, and performances that inspire. But also insights into how talent is transformed into mastery and, specifically, how "deliberate practice” and repetition leads to expression. Whether you’re a fellow musician, a curious listener, or someone drawn to the craft of excellence in any form, I hope these musings strike the right beat.
